The Abasyn University Journal of Social Sciences (AJSS) is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal that is published on six monthly bases. The AJSS intends to serve as an open platform for academia, researchers and civil society to communicate their ideas, views, and research findings across the cultures. The journal strives to provide quality research publications that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. The management of the AJSS is committed to complete the peer review process within two months (maximum) and informs the author about the acceptance or otherwise about the paper accordingly.
Each paper is reviewed by the editor and, if it is judged suitable for this publication, it is then sent to two independent referees for double-blind peer review. Based on their recommendation, as well as consultation between relevant Editorial Board members the editor then decides whether the paper should be accepted as is, revised, or rejected.
Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published before in their current or substantially similar form, or be under consideration for publication with another journal. The editor may make use of Plagiarism Software for checking the originality of submissions received.
